Chakra’s are the invisible energy system that originated in ancient India. Chakra meaning wheel or disk in Sanskrit, are like big energy wheels, running through our bodies. Ensuring their openness and alignment allows our energy to flow freely, making us feel healthy, happy and alive. We all need a bit of that don’t we darlings. A misaligned chakra can really be quite beastly, for example a blocked solar plexus chakra can feel like that knot you get in the pit of your stomach when something just doesn’t feel right. A heart chakra that’s just too open can often result in us giving too much in relationships and a misaligned throat chakra can often result in us not finding our voice to communicate freely.
There are seven chakras in our bodies, aligned vertically beginning at our pelvic area, they run up our bodies along the spine, through our stomach, heart and throat, third eye to the top of our head- our crown chakra. Each has a colour associated to it, that you can visualise as you meditate through the chakras to bring them into alignment.
You can choose crystals, which work using their vibration and colour, to help align and open your chakras if they have become blocked. Below is our recommended crystals for each chakra, however you can select crystals based entirely on their associated chakra colour.
